NTU Museum

NTU Museum is a museum without walls, defying the conventional idea of a museum by utilising the entire campus to display artworks and bring art to the community. The museum boasts a modest permanent collection of over 200 contemporary artworks, spanning an eclectic range of Singaporean, South-East Asian, and international artists. It is an integral addition to the vibrant student culture, promoting a keen awareness and appreciation of art on campus. The museum provides opportunities for participation and cross-disciplinary collaborations through the arts.

Established in 2008, the museum emerged as the university was developing new programs in Art, Design, Media, and the Humanities and Social Sciences, complementing its strengths in Science and Technology disciplines. NTU Museum is listed under the National Heritage Board's (Singapore) Approved Museum Scheme.

Audio Drama Writing Workshop

Sound Plot: Ulu

Sound Plot: Ulu is presented by NTU Museum and theatre development company Centre 42 in 2024/2025, an audio drama series paying homage to the diversity of people and the layers of history in the Jurong West region where the main campus is located.

Loop is a 4.5m tall interdisciplinary sculptural installation consisting 1,200 butterflies fluttering on an almost invisible Möbius loop formation.

Fern

Inspired by the lush greenery of the campus, Fern is a site-specific sculptural bench that provides shelter to busy students and teachers in transit.

Media Art Nexus (MAN) enhances the expression of digital interactive media and fine art using the latest multimedia technologies.

The Wing and Wings by Yeo Chee Kiong

The Wind and Wings

This bulbous 6.6m sculpture by Yeo Chee Kiong was created to commemorate the inaugural Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore in 2010.

The Third Paradise

Located on the ADM roof, The Third Paradise by Michael Pistoletto is a living artwork that represents an ideal balance between human activities and nature.

Red Solace

Red Solace by Delia Prvacki is a ceramic sculpture that doubles as a bench at the passenger pick-up point of the Experimental Medicine Building.

Bloom

Located at the LKCMedicine Novena Campus, Bloom is a renewable energy artwork with 'live'' flowers that respond to the changing weather conditions.

Dandelion

Dandelion is a 5m tall renewable energy light installation inspired by NTU's lush nature and the turfed architectural roofscape of the ADM building.
