Sustainability efforts
Under the NTU Smart Campus vision launched by NTU President Professor Subra Suresh in Jan 2018, the University aims to harness the power of digital technology and tech-enabled solutions to support better learning and living experiences, the discovery of new knowledge, and the sustainability of resources.
Under the NTU 2025 strategic plan, the University will redouble its sustainability efforts across the campus.

To examine technology and its relationship with humanity and society, focus areas for this grand challenge will encompass academic and intellectual disciplines catalysing Industry 4.0, business and commerce, public policy, as well as the humanities and social sciences.
