NTU's Global Impact

NTU Singapore has unveiled the final test model of its latest advanced satellite, Elite. It orbits at half the distance from earth compared to conventional satellites to capture better quality images. Such satellites could allow better monitor on spread of volcanic ash after an eruption.

NTU Singapore, PSA Singapore, and Chiyoda Corporation are trialing the transport and storage of liquid methylcyclohexane at ambient conditions. The newly established hydrogen refueling station at Pasir Panjang Terminal facilitates clean fuel use for horizontal port transportation.
