ADM Film Rush ’23

ADM Film Rush ’23 is a 50-hour student filmmaking competition. Participants will attend a briefing at NTU ADM, where 3 different lines of dialogue will be revealed. After choosing one of the dialogue options, they would then have the next 50 hours to shoot, edit, and submit a 4 minute short film that has their chosen line of dialogue incorporated creatively.

 

The top 10 submissions (as judged by our local industry filmmakers) will be screened during an awards ceremony, where participants stand to win attractive prizes.

 

WHEN & WHERE?

Online registrations: Now till 14th June 2023 (there are limited slots given on a first-come-first-serve basis).
Briefing @ NTU ADM: 16th June 2023, 7pm - 9.30pm
Submission Deadline: 18th June 2023, 11.59pm
Prize-Giving Ceremony: 24th June 2023, 4pm - 8pm

 

WHO CAN TAKE PART?

All students from Secondary 3 onwards to University level are eligible. The minimum age requirement for participation is 15 years old. Participants under the age of 18 are required to submit an indemnity form signed by their parent/guardian.

 

WHY TAKE PART?

Thanks to local business sponsors, the prize pool of our competition amounts to above $3,000- with attractive prizes like a Nintendo Switch Lite, Peak Design Backpack, ZhiYun Gimbal, Audio Technica Headphones, and more. This 50-hour film competition format will allow students to get a taste of filmmaking as they consider which careers and passions to follow in the future. We promise this event will be an exciting, fun-filled experience suitable for all.
