Congratulations to Associate Professor Chu Heo on the premiere of his short film Like Me Like You at the 25th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BiFan), which was commissioned as part of the Vertical Cinema Showcase, exploring the aesthetic possibilities of a vertical aspect ratio, and has racked up 84K views on TikTok so far. On this romantic sci-fi mini-epic Chul collaborated with many from the ADM community including Assistant Professor Ross Williams on sound and music, Assistant Professor Djordje Arambasic as cinematographer, Associate Professor Ben Seide as VFX supervisor and Angelene Wong (ADM PhD candidate) as actor. Twenty-two Media undergraduates helped out as crew, and you’ll see plenty of NTU locations used, as well as a Singapore landmark in the final shot!
