The ADM PhD
ADM graduate programmes provide research opportunities in a wide spectrum. Candidates are encouraged to develop innovative ways of thinking and to produce creative works in a diverse range of media.
ADM areas of research and practice are informed by the strategic research directions of the school and the interdisciplinary practice led by its highly versed industry-related professionals, academics, and educators. Some of the relevant topics that inform the PhD programmes by research are: Southeast Asian Art, Design, and Media; Art, Design and Media Histories and Criticism; Cultural Identity and Heritage; Visual Art and Digital Humanities, Audio and Media Art (Animation / Film / Interactive), and Design Studies.
Our internationally renowned faculty members who combine theory and practice, preparing student artists to theorize their own experience in art, design and media.

- Cutting-edge resources and facilities including ADM Library, research lounge for ADM graduate students, sound stage, motion-capture studio, 3D printing lab, movie theatres, dark room, print lab, digital sound lab, sound mixing studio, virtual reality (VR) studio, animation, and editing suites.
