Shaping our post-pandemic future
The NTU University Scholars Programme "provides a diversity of worldviews and perspectives" and "has broadened my mindset and approach to doing things, especially when working and volunteering," said NTU Public
Policy and Global Affairs student Nurin Nazurah Saifudin.
A firm believer in helping those in need, she has done several volunteer stints. On one such stint with AWARE, Nurin helped conduct research interviews for a programme that reaches
out to women who were adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
That experience has inspired her to advocate for more inclusive policies and she hopes to pursue a career in the public service. "I realised that I found most fulfilment
working for and serving the public... I know that my career has to be one that is oriented towards making a difference and helping my society."
