1st Runner-up in Singapore - India Hackathon 2018
About the Competition: Singapore-India Hackathon 2018 was jointly organised by NTUitive and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), facilitated by Singapore’s Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and High Commission of India in Singapore. This competition focuses on campus issues, namely wayfinding, personal security, effective learning, effective communication, digital identity, space management, carpark availability and event management. Participants are expected to build a working prototype and come up with plans to scale beyond the campuses.

Description: Dway is a web application for users to find their way on campus by offering optimised walking routes and recognising locations based on landmarks. They utilised web scrapping technologies to generate routes not found on current available services like Google Maps. The key considerations while developing Dway were practicality and UX.
