About the competition: Shell’s Imagine the Future Scenario Competition challenges teams to build scenarios to imagine the future of more and cleaner energy in Asian cities and how we would live, work, and play in that future.

Product/Proposal: The Diamond World vs The Seed World

Description: The team used Singapore as a case study to understand how we will live, work and play in 2050, with the main critical uncertainty lying in Singaporean’s ability to be or not be environmentally conscious. In the Diamond World, they envision a world where Singaporeans have been hardened by the tough environmental conditions; in the Seed World, they portrayed where Singaporeans adopted an incredibly environmentally conscious stance and placed an added emphasis on preserving the environment.
