Product/Proposal: Kannagi’s Anklet and Lakshamma’s Fort
Description: The team developed two plausible scenarios for Bangalore, India, in 2060. In the first scenario, Kannagi’s Anklet, technological growth was heavily focused to boost the economy and to cement Bangalore as a global leader in the technological sphere. In the second scenario, Lakshamma’s Fort, the team showcased an alternative future where the local governments focused heavily on environmental efforts to solve problems like flooding and water shortages.
The competition allowed the team to gain new perspectives on what is happening in the world. Through their research, the team managed to gain a deeper understanding of the Indian culture and the challenges that governments face every day in the development of their countries. Such valuable experience has also inspired the team to contribute and play their part in building a better future for the next generation.
