Name of the competition: Heavener International Case Competition (HICC) 2024
About the competition: This is a prestigious international business case competition organized by the University of Florida. There were two cases: an 8-hour case and a 28-hour case. Students were required to consult on real problems that companies faced and to help them within this short time frame. The competition was in a new format, closely mimicking a consulting atmosphere, with 5 minutes of presentation time followed by 20 minutes of interactive discussions. Our first case was with Vertaeon LLC, a risk analytics SaaS platform. The 28-hour case was with Primo Water, a pure water solutions provider.
