ARISE Industry & Community Engagement Event and Research Symposium

A two day event held on 10 and 11 November 2017. Day 1 focused on industry engagement and community partnerships for the advancement of an ageing population and day 2 focused on research that is making a difference to the lives of an ageing population in particular on the 'war against diabetes', active ageing with an active lifestyle and other research that has a direct impact on old age. Mr. Amrin Amin, Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Health inaugurated the Symposium and witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between ARISE and the Institute for Geriatric Research and Education. Leading international and local experts are also invited to speak and share their thoughts on an aging population.
