Ms Jill Lee is the former Group Chief Financial Officer of Sulzer Ltd, a Swiss-listed global industrial company located in Winterthur Switzerland. Prior to taking her Group CFO role in April 2018, Ms Lee served as a member of the non-executive Board of Directors of Sulzer for 7 years. While on the Board of Directors of Sulzer, Ms Lee held the Chair of the Audit Committee from 2016 to 2018, and was also a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

Before joining Sulzer, Ms Lee was a Senior Vice-President at the Swiss headquarters of global industrial conglomerate ABB Ltd, where she led the company’s strategic transformation program, “Next Level 1000days Programs” from 2015 to 2017. In the preceding years 2012 to 2014, Ms Lee was the Regional Chief Financial Officer for ABB responsible for China and North-Asia, and was based in Beijing. 

Ms Lee also held many significant leadership positions in several other companies. She was the Senior Vice-President, Finance Strategy and Investments, of the shipping and logistics company Neptune Orient Lines Ltd in 2011 before joining ABB. Ms Lee had a successful career with the German global industrial conglomerate Siemens Ltd. She was the global Chief Diversity Officer of Siemens from 2008 to 2010, during which she was based in their headquarters in Munich. As the first-ever Chief Diversity Officer of Siemens, she led a strategic CEO-initiative to foster talent diversity and international leadership. In 2004, Ms Lee became the first Asian woman to be appointed by Siemens as their Regional Chief Financial Officer for China and North-East Asia. She served in this role from 2004 to 2008, located in Beijing. Earlier, Ms Lee was the Country Chief Financial Officer for Siemens in Singapore from 2000 to 2004. Until 2000, she held leading roles in various business groups within Siemens in Singapore, including the position as General Manager for the electromechanical components business unit. Ms Lee began her career in finance in 1986. In the early years of her career, Ms Lee held roles in AT&T and Tyco Electronics in Singapore.

Ms Lee is currently a non-executive Director on the board of Schneider Electric. From 2017 to 2020, she was also a member of the Supervisory Board of Signify Ltd.​

Ms Lee has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from National University of Singapore, and a Master of Business Administration (Accountancy-major) degree from Nanyang Business School in Singapore.​
