General Programme Questions
Nanyang Business School has an established reputation and track record as a top accounting school globally. Our technical rigour in the area of accountancy differentiates us from other similar programmes in the market.
In Singapore, you will get direct entry into the Singapore CA Professional Level exams if you are on the General track. After you complete the professional exams under the Singapore CA Qualification and have been mentored in an accredited training organisation for at least 3 years, you will qualify to become a Chartered Accountant of Singapore.
Applicants who are academically strong and have the determination and drive to become a successful professional in the accounting or finance related fields.
The lack of an accounting background is not a drawback as long as you are open minded about learning a new discipline.
Chances of getting an accounting job in Singapore would depend very much on how well you perform in our MSc programme and how good you are when you interview, etc. The market for accounting graduates is good here but having said that, you also need to realize that employers in Singapore are expected to give priority to Singaporeans and permanent residents of Singapore if shortlisted candidates are of equal capability.

MSc Accountancy with Data Analytics Specialisation
Application Process
You have to submit an application to the MSc Accountancy programme. In the online application form, you will see the option to select the Data Analytics track.
No, the application process is the same as the MSc Accountancy programme, and will be offered on a rolling basis.
Offers to the MSc Accountancy with Data Analytics track will be offered if applicant has indicated interest in their application form and have passed their admission interview rounds of approval. Hence, we do encourage you to submit your full application early. Admission outcome to the Data Analytics track will be stated in your admission offer letter.

Programme Information
The MSc Accountancy (MACC) programme builds upon the School's long standing tradition of over 50 years in training executives for leadership roles in accounting and finance across Singapore and globally. The programme is offered in two specialised tracks tailored to your career goals.
- General Track: Gain a comprehensive understanding of core accounting principles, taxation, auditing, and financial management. This well-rounded track prepares you for a variety of accounting and finance professions, and gain direct access to take
the Singapore CA Professional exams.
- Data Analytics Track: Delve deeper into the future of accounting by mastering cutting-edge data analytics tools and techniques. Learn how to integrate data analysis with traditional accounting principles to extract valuable insights and make informed business decisions.

Both MSc Accountancy general & data analytics track, can be completed in 12 months over three trimesters on a full-time basis.
The optional internship module and overseas exchange is available to students from the Data Analytics track.
No, there will not be an additional fee incurred for the Data Analytics track. Both MSc Accountancy general & data analytics track have the same prevailing tuition fee.
Yes, the Data Analytics track will be reflected in your academic transcript only (and not in the degree scroll).
