Nanyang Business School PhD Programme in Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship

Our programme

Our PhD Programme is designed for students who wish to study and research into strategic management, international business (IB), and/or entrepreneurship. Together with a faculty mentor, students will have the opportunity to explore relevant issues and translate their ideas into rigorous academic research.

Our faculty

Our faculty have published in premier journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Business Venturing, Management Science, Organization Science, and Journal of Applied Psychology. Our faculty also serve as reviewers or associate editors for several of these journals. We encourage collaborations with faculty members to produce joint publications in major journals and presentations at top international conferences. We also host regular research seminars with renowned professors to further enrich interactions with leading scholars in the field.

Our students

We look for motivated individuals with aptitude and passion for research and education. We encourage our students to draw on interdisciplinary theories and perspectives (e.g., economics, psychology, sociology) to address interesting research topics in strategic management, IB, and/or entrepreneurship. We prepare our students to pursue academic careers both locally and internationally.
