The NTU-SBF Centre for African Studies hosted a talk by Delphine Godefroit-Winkel, Associate Professor at TBS Business School in Casablanca, Morocco, where she explored the retail landscape of three distinct markets in Francophone Africa.

In this event attended by exchange students, academics and professionals, Dr Godefroit-Winkel examined African consumer behaviour and factors that influence purchasing decisions, which include family values and local culture. She also spoke about key retail trends such as the rise of online shopping and considerations for businesses that plan to enter the three countries, putting an emphasis on the importance of understanding local culture.
