How to win trust when doing business in Africa
African psychology and cross-cultural business communications expert Dr Ebede Ndi conducts a half-day workshop at the NTU-SBF Centre for African Studies
Africa has become a centre for business opportunities and is likely to remain so for the foreseeable future. However, lack of trust, fear of the unknown and a deep-seated misperception of Africa still dominates the minds of many Asian business leaders. Lack of understanding of Africa, its history and its own unique business culture often comes in the way of establishing a strong partnership.
To address this the NTU-SBF Centre for African Studies conducted a half-day workshop at the Nanyang Executive Centre. It was conducted by the Taiwan-based Cameroonian psychology and business communications expert Dr Ebede Ndi. 22 executives and professionals from a variety of different sectors participated in the event.
