Second LiDAR Goes Live for 3DREAMS@SG Project in Singapore

Atmospheric Monitoring Strengthened with a Second LiDAR System in Singapore

We are excited to announce that the second LiDAR system for the 3DREAMS@SG project is now operational as of March 13, 2025! Installed on the rooftop of Raffles Girls’ School (RGS), this cutting-edge system joins our first LiDAR on the N2 building at NTU campus, creating a robust network that operates 24/7 to monitor Singapore’s upper-level atmospheric environment.

Over the next week, our team will conduct rigorous testing to ensure the system performs flawlessly. Once fully optimized, this advanced LiDAR will continuously track transboundary haze and urban climate patterns, delivering critical data for scientific research and raising public awareness about air quality and environmental changes.

This milestone marks a significant step forward in our mission to advance environmental monitoring and sustainability in Singapore. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to expand the 3DREAMS@SG initiative!
