Introduction to the Centre

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) was officially established in 1991, with its predecessor being Nanyang University founded in 1953. The two institutions share a common heritage and campus. Centre for Chinese Language and Culture was established by NTU in April 1994 to carry on the founding spirit of Nanyang University, and to promote the study and research of Chinese language and culture.
