CDPT 10

Photonics has played a vital role in creating the world as we know it. It is impossible to imagine modern society without optical fibre telecommunication networks, high quality displays, precision laser-assisted manufacturing, or the compact semiconductor lasers used for data storage, printing, and many other purposes. 

Established in December 2012, the Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies (CDPT) at NTU has become a leading player of a photonics revolution, blending interdisciplinary expertise within NTU with collaborating partners in Singapore, Europe, USA, Australia and other countries.

This event is a celebration of CDPT and its achievements over the last 10 years, which have made it a world-class centre in fundamental and applied photonics research.
