Prof Zheludev elected Foreign Member of US National Academy of Engineering

Prof Nikolay Zheludev, the Director of the Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies, has been elected as a Foreign Member of the US National Academy of Engineering (NAE) for his leadership and technical contributions to optical metamaterials and nanophotonics.

The NAE is a prominent US-based nonprofit institution that represents the engineering profession, with over 2000 peer-elected members. Membership is considered one of the highest professional honors accorded an engineer.
