Course Objective

The course is designed to equip and enhance knowledge of working professionals in Project Management for Construction projects.

In today's fast changing environment, it is important to enhance the skills to manage the project, people, supply change, cost, schedule while not forgetting the importance of quality and safety.

Sustainability approach in executing the projects cannot be ignored in projects environment. Project management skills are applicable to many areas of performance and helps individual to manage their growth and career progression better.

This course intends to provide the basic knowledge on the concepts which could be used in their day-to-day work life and generate interest to learn more about new techniques and methodologies applied in the industry.

About the Instructor

Ravish holds an Engineering Degree and Masters’ in Project Management plus Diploma in IT. He started his career as an Engineer in 1993 and has worked in various countries and projects for Asia Pacific region, the Middle East and United Kingdom with some wellknown companies such as SembCorp, Jacobs Engineering, Foster Wheeler/Amec/Wood. With over 31 years of experience in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) industry, Ravish has a demonstrated record of success in various fields including Engineering, Project Management, Operations Excellence, Quality Management, Sustainability reporting, and Business Development.

Ravish had been involved in projects at different roles for Infrastructure, Wafer-Fab plant, Transport, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Petro-chemical, O&G, and Data-Centre projects. He has also launched efficiency and productivity improvement initiatives such as Capital Efficiency, Value Engineering, and Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) on projects to improve cost and schedule savings.

Ravish is actively involved in universities as a senior lecturer, plus coaching students and working professionals to achieve success in their careers. Currently, he is teaching various courses on Project Management for working professionals, full time undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students at NUS and NTU. His recently launched book “Searching, Securing, and Managing a New Job” is gaining popularity among students and job seekers.

He is the founder of “TheGritConsulting Pte. Ltd.” to provide consultancy services to improve the efficiency and productivity of projects and organizations.
