Prof Chu Jian and his co-authors (Master Student Yan Wei, Research Fellow Dr Zhu Xing, Research Fellow Dr Wang Kangda, Senior Research Fellow Dr Wu Shifan and BCA collaborator Mr Kiefer Chiam) were awarded the Excellent Paper Award by the 11^th Asian Rock Mechanics Symposium (ARMS 11) for their paper “Use of Tree-based machine learning methods for stratigraphic classification in 3D geological modelling”.
