International Forum on Shipping, Ports, and Airports (IFSPA) 2024

The International Forum on Shipping, Ports, and Airports (IFSPA) 2024 which took place at Nanyang Technological University (NTU, Singapore) from 10-14 June 2024 was a resounding success. The conference attracted over 150 participants from around the globe and centered on the theme "Globalizing Green Transport Without Borders."

This year’s forum was a notable blend of academic and industry perspectives, with sessions covering ESG initiatives, green shipping technologies, smart ports, and artificial intelligence.

Esteemed keynote speakers from institutions including The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Zhejiang University, Chang’An University, Shenzhen University, Yantian Maritime Safety Administration, Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, American Bureau of Shipping, and A*STAR enriched the discussions.

Many postgraduate students, who represent the future leaders of our industries, brought dynamic and hopeful perspective to the conversations.

At the end of the event, innovative ideas and meaningful connections made which will undoubtedly shape the future of sustainable transport.
