MaritimeONE Case Summit 2024 Grand Finals and Awards Ceremony

Among the participated teams, NTU CEE's maritime studies students were 2 out of the 4 champion teams!

The MaritimeONE Case Summit (MCS) 2024 Grand Finals and Awards Ceremony was held on 7 November 2024 at M Hotel Singapore. The top three teams and merit prize winners for the respective challenge statements issued by the sponsing companies CMA CGM Group, Pacific Carriers Limited, Petredec Global and TotalEnergies Marine Fuels were announced. The champion teams will present their innovative proposals addressing industry challenges that ranged from enhancing shipping’s sustainability related practices to improving seafarer’s well-being.   

Mr. Baey Yam Keng, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment & Ministry of Transport, graced the event as the Guest-of-Honour.

The MaritimeONE Case Summit, held annually with top maritime multinationals, gathers students from diverse educational backgrounds to tackle business, technology, and sustainability challenges that reflect the maritime industry's evolving landscape. This year, in its 5th edition, set a record with 416 students across 127 teams from Singapore’s public universities and polytechnics, representing fields like maritime studies, supply chain management, business, engineering, data science, and economics.
