Commodities' Fireside Chat

Commodities' Fireside Chat was jointly organised by Enterprise Singapore, Singapore Management University International Trading Institute, and NTU Centre of Excellence International Trading. Industry leaders from ADM, bp and Sing Fuels, discussed global traders’ journey to net zero and the new skillsets and talent required to overcome the challenges of sustainability. The panel was moderated by Prof Wai Fong Boh, Deputy Dean, College of Business (Nanyang Business School), NTU.

At the event, NTU students gained a deeper understanding of emerging ESG trends and how sustainability is reshaping commodity markets. The panelists highlighted innovative solutions such as biofuels and carbon credits to promote sustainability in industries. With a greater emphasis on sustainable products, achieving net zero is a future goal.
