About Us

Computational Intelligence Laboratory (CIL), established in April 2004, serves both as a teaching lab and research centre. Our expertise ranges from classical, knowledge-intensive AI, through machine learning and adaptive systems, to nature-inspired Computational Intelligence. Our work focuses on the investigation, design, and development of novel models and techniques and their application for building computing systems and devices that are of practical use in human endeavours. CIL is always looking for collaboration with industrial partners and funding organisations interested in our line of research and its potential applications. We also welcome other faculty interested in joint projects and developments as well as outstanding students interested not only in furthering their education but also in playing an active role in shaping the world of tomorrow.
