2023 2D Materials Workshop

2D Materials Workshop was held in CINTRA to facilitate close discussions and exchanges between our main collaborators from France and NTU colleagues. Through this workshop, the CINTRA management team developed strategic research plans on two-dimensional (2D) materials in coming years. We discussed our current joint projects and explored new possible topics of collaboration with the perspective of preparing new joint grant proposals which can be submitted in France and/or Singapore.

The participants were from IEMN-Lille (CNRS), C2N-Palaiseau (CNRS), GeePs-Paris (CNRS), Hongkong Polytechnic University, and CGU Taiwan.

Among the topics discussed were large-area synthesis of transition metal chalcogenides, growth of hBN, AI for 2D material design, heterobilayers, MoS₂, graphene, quantum devices using 2D materials, spintronic devices, and thermoelectric applications.
