Who are we
Connected Smart Mobility (COSMO) programme is a national R&D initiative hosted by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in collaboration with ASTAR’s Institute of Infocomm Research (I2R), Centre of Excellence for Testing & Research of AVs (CETRAN) and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) to develop next generation connected mobility technologies and solutions.
Supported by National Research Foundation’s IAF-PP funding programme, we strive to build a holistic connected mobility industry ecosystem by aligning and integrating public sector research with early industry involvement and collaboration.
COSMO programme comprises 4 R&D tracks with 8 work packages that provide a comprehensive suite of technologies, solutions, and best-of-breed V2X mobility use cases that enhance road safety, optimise traffic and support future smart mobility solutions globally as well as to realise Singapore’s Smart Mobility Vision 2030.
The programme further aims to build a strong research and engineering manpower base that can sustain the human capital needs and support the ecosystem by anchoring industry players to conduct R&D, product development and manufacturing in Singapore.
