Kok-Yee Ng is Professor in International Management at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and Director of Research at The Center for Leadership and Cultural Intelligence. She is best known for her research in cultural intelligence (CQ) and global leadership. An award-winning researcher and teacher, she is the first in the Nanyang Business School (NBS) to attain the twin honor of winning the Nanyang Award for Excellence in Research and Nanyang Award for Excellence in Teaching. The Nanyang awards recognize outstanding faculty for their achievements and contributions at the university-level. Professor Ng conducts evidence-based research to help organizations improve their human-capital strategy, policy, and implementation. These organizations include International Air Transport Association (IATA), the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), and the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). She has also created and conducted Master classes in CQ, where she infuses the Center’s cutting-edge research into highly interactive multi-media classes. She teaches at the graduate and undergraduate levels in NBS, as well as in multinational corporations such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT), Applied Materials, and SAP Labs China.
