The Spanish language classes at NTU practices the four language skills of the language (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) in an integrated manner through an action-oriented approach with the aid of a wide range of audio-visual and classroom materials. Additional elements of gamification make learning the language more engaging and fun.

Open the door to a global language with a large family of native speakers
Spanish is the second most spoken mother tongue worldwide with more than 489 million people in 21 countries.
It is the second language in the USA and it is spoken in all five
continents. It is also one of the six official languages in the United
Nations as well as in the European Union. Spanish is also the world’s third most used language in the media in its various formatting: radio, television, paper and internet. It also makes up 10% of the language used on the Internet.
OGEM (Office of Global Education and Mobility) in NTU offers many opportunities for exchange programmes and summer/winter programs in Spanish speaking-countries. What could be better than discovering a new culture, meeting new people and improving your language skills whilst earning credits for your study programme?
