Nanyang Awards 2023

SCSE has much to celebrate at this year’s Nanyang Awards Presentation Ceremony, held on 9 November 2023 at Nanyang Auditorium. This year, three SCSE faculty won the Nanyang Awards. One for excellence in education, one for outstanding contributions in research and another for Innovation & Entrepreneurship. 

Assistant Professor Mohamed M. Sabry Aly won this year’s Nanyang Education Award (School) for his dedication and excellent teaching practices that has enriched the learning experiences of SCSE undergraduates. The Nanyang Education Award is the highest honour conferred by the University to faculty members in the field of teaching.  

Professor Guan Cuntai was conferred the Nanyang Research Award (University) for his significant breakthroughs and global recognition.   

Professor Lam Kwok Yan was conferred the Nanyang Award for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, a fitting recognition for his outstanding collaborations with industry and public organisations.
