SCSE Alumni Pottery Workshop @ Thow Kwang Pottery

NTU SCSE Alumni Pottery Workshop was held at Thow Kwang Pottery on 2^nd March 2019 with over 45 attendees. SCSE Assoc Chair (Students), Assoc Prof Quek Hiok Chai and SCSE Asst Chair (Alumni and Outreach), Prof Cong Gao attended and graced the event. The event was aimed at strengthening the bond and network amongst the SCSE alumni community while developing self and picking up new skills.

The event started off with a welcome speech by Assoc Prof Quek to thank the alumni for their continued support for our alumni activities. The participants learnt about pottery making process and explore their creativity and hand skills. It was a surprise to see their many creative art pieces creation. The social event is meant to develop the long term learning - Learn, Unlearn and Relearn gene in our alumni to inculcate appreciation, critique skills through fine arts.

The alumni took this opportunity to network with their fellow alumni and professors over lunch at the end of the event.
