Two ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Awards at ISSTA 2022

SCSE post-graduates and faculty members have brought home two “Distinguished Paper Awards” from the 31st ACM SIGSOFT International Symposium on Software Testing and Analysis (ISSTA). These were among the five Distinguished Paper Awards ( https://conf.researchr.org/home/issta-2022) selected from the 61 accepted papers. The number of submissions to ISSTA’22 also reached a record-high of 250 papers this year. The conference was held virtually from 18 to 22 July, 2022. Details about the two award-winning papers are listed below.

ISSTA is the leading research symposium on software testing and analysis, bringing together academics, industrial researchers, and practitioners to exchange new ideas, problems, and experience on how to analyze and test software systems.
Mr Li Zhiming is a second year PhD student, supervised by Prof Liu Yang and Asst/P Li Yi. His research interest is AI-assisted program analysis techniques. Mr Liu Ye is a fourth year PhD candidate, supervised by Asst/P Li Yi, working on smart contract security and fairness analysis.
