The NTU-PKU Double Master's programme aims to develop and cultivate young bilingual executives who can achieve a successful career in the global finance industry, with a focus on China and the Asia-Pacific region.

Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements

  • Good undergraduate degree in any discipline.  
  • Language proficiency in English and Mandarin.1
  • Good GMAT or GRE score. 
  • Work experience in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
  • All shortlisted applicants will be invited for NTU and PKU admission interviews.2

1A good IELTS or TOEFL score is required if your undergraduate degree was not taught exclusively in English. Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) L6 score 210 if your degree was not taught exclusively in Chinese.

Application Information

  • For everyone except applicants with Chinese Passport, applications must be submitted online.
  • Applicants with Chinese passports must first be admitted to SEPKU. 
  • Only completed applications received before the deadline will be assessed. An application is considered complete when we have received all supporting documents, information, and application fee.

3Applicants who wish to be considered for the double master's programme would have to indicate their interest in the application form when applying to the MSc in Finance. 

Programme Structure & Duration

The double master's degree will be delivered in two stages at both universities. Students spend their first year studying at NBS, NTU, where they complete all courses required by NTU's MSc Finance programme. From the second year onwards, students join SEPKU, where they complete one of the four professional master's degrees in Finance, Insurance, Tax, and International Business programme requirements. 

Curriculum

For a double degree in MSc Finance, students are required to complete 36 AUs and 37 AUs consisting of core and elective courses at NTU and PKU respectively. As part of their learning experience, students are also expected to complete at least a 3-month internship at PKU. 

Career Prospects

NBS has developed a broad range of relationships with top companies across many different industries in China. Throughout the year, many top companies from China engage with students directly and actively recruit from NBS postgraduate students. In recent years, many leading companies such as CICC, CITIC Securities, Alibaba, Baidu, Tencent, JD.com and Ping An Group have hired MSc Finance graduates.
