Centre Director’s Message

For those of you who are visiting our website for the first time, allow me to quickly introduce Electromagnetic Effects Research Laboratory (EMERL) and what we do. EMERL is jointly setup by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and DSO National Laboratories. Since its official launch on 7 September 2007, EMERL has completed more than 20 externally funded research projects covering a diverse range of electromagnetic effects related topics, such as electromagnetic shielding, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) design of power electronics, high-speed signal and power integrity design, radio frequency interference (RFI) and antenna modelling. These research activities have a clear objective of developing new technologies to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI) to wireless communications and sensitive electronics devices. EMERL is looking forward to collaborating with both local and overseas research institutes and companies for electromagnetic effects related research.
