Faizal is an engineer driven by a passion for advancing sustainability in the built environment. Joining ERI@N in 2024, he leads an interdisciplinary programme aimed at tackling key challenges within the industry.

With over a decade of diverse experiences, Faizal brings a wealth of knowledge to his current role. His journey includes addressing systems-level urban challenges at the Centre for Liveable Cities, developing technology transfer strategies at A*STAR, and managing robotics R&D programmes at the Building and Construction Authority.

Faizal has a solid academic foundation and earned his Ph.D in geotechnical engineering from NUS in 2016. His dynamic background uniquely positions him to lead and innovate across the different disciplines in the built environment value chain.
