The diffractometer is can be readily reconfigured for other XRD techniques such as, thin film XRD, texture measurements and PDF analysis.

Goniometer: theta-theta goniometer with horizontal sample mounting
Goniometer radius: 300 mm
Primary incident optics: Bragg-Brentanno and Parallel (CBO(Cu)-SL), High resolution CBO (CBO-a)
Optional optics: Bragg-Brentanno and Focusing (CBO-E(Cu)-SL), Ge(220) 2 bounce monochromator
Diffracted optics: receiving slits, parallel slit analyzer
Sample stages: standard, Eulerian cradle, X-Y mapping, capillary spinner, automatic sample changer,
Detector: XSPA-400ER (0D, 1D, 2D) with X-ray fluorescence suppression
