The Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) of Public Policy and Global Affairs (PPGA) with a Second Major in Media and Journalism Studies is a four-year programme that prepares graduates for the fast-changing employment landscape in Singapore.


PPGA with Second Major in Media and Journalism Studies will provide an additional and alternative competitive programme option for students who are interested in public administration and international relations and at the same time equipped with the media and journalism skillsets. 

Graduates of these programmes will be at a competitive advantage in the twenty-first century marketplace as they are able to present a more holistic view with deeper understanding on the synergy between Public Policy and Global Affairs and communication studies.  

Candidates who meet the general admission requirements set by NTU will be considered for admissions. Please refer to the Undergraduate Admissions website for further details.
Successful Polytechnic applicants will be exempted from certain courses; exempted courses will be confirmed before the start of students’ first semesters.
The Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) of Public Policy and Global Affairs with a Second Major in Media and Journalism Studies (PPGA-MJS) is designed as a four-year course. To graduate, students are required to complete 125 academic units (AUs) from the PPGA-MJS Major Requirements, Interdisciplinary Collaborative Core (ICC) and Broadening and Deepening Electives (BDE).
