About Us

HIL delves into diverse research areas and possesses core competencies in computational medicine, telehealth solution, bioinformatics, genomics, quantitative health sciences, epidemiology, infodemiology, healthcare data privacy and governance, advanced medical imaging, artificial intelligence and machine learning in healthcare and implementation science. Within HIG, researchers passionately explore, innovate, and seamlessly integrate computational capabilities across these domains. A dynamic community of professors, research staff, and students collaborates on a spectrum of research initiatives, both independently and in synergy with other institutes and industrial partners. HIG actively engages in research projects with the LKC School of Medicine, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, A*Star institutes such as the Bioinformatics Institute and Genome Institute of Singapore and the Singapore Ministry of Health.
