Dr Serg Bell, a Singaporean tech entrepreneur, investor and executive has founded two dozen global IT companies, numerous venture funds and several science and education centers. About the Speaker

Dr Serg Bell is a Singaporean entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist. He is the Founder of Constructor Group, a multi-faceted ecosystem dedicated to advancing the fields of science, technology and education. Through its non-profit and for-profit entities – Constructor Knowledge, Constructor Technology, and Constructor Capital – the Group combines extensive educational opportunities, technological capabilities, and commercial services to allow for the next wave of innovative breakthroughs. Constructor Group currently employs more than 800 individuals across eight global offices.

Prior to establishing Constructor Group, Dr Bell Founded Acronis, a global cyber protection company, in 2001. He previously served as Chief Strategist, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at Acronis.

Throughout his longstanding career, Dr Bell established and led over two dozen global companies focusing on IT, most prominently as Senior Founding Partner of Runa Capital, Executive Chairman of the Board and Chief Architect of Parallels, Inc., and Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Acumatica, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) company. Dr Bell also developed a number of quantum tech projects.

As part of his philanthropic activities, Dr Bell has overseen multi-million dollar financial and humanitarian support to Ukrainian refugees. Most recently, he has also supported victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, and funded education programmes in Kenya, Bhutan, and Tanzania. He is also a Co-Founder and Board Member of Ground Breaker, a non-for-profit foundation focused on providing a more equitable and prosperous world by bridging access to opportunities across less privileged communities.

A Singaporean citizen, Dr Bell holds a B.S. in Physics, an M.S. (Hons) in Physics and Electrical Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science. He has filed more than 400 U.S. Patents and has an h-index of 45.
