Bio-Lasers: Exciting Multi-Colored Spectrum in PhD Career

PhD career especially in interdisciplinary science is deemed as a long and torturous journey for most students. Nanyang Assistant Prof Yu-Cheng Chen shared his insights and how he became a professor before turning 30s in the field of biomedical engineering, bioelectronics, and biomedical photonics. He also highlighted recent advancements of bio-lasers in cells, tissues and neuronal networks, demonstrated possible implementation in intelligent clinical diagnosis, and discussed the outlook for biomedicine research.
The colloquium on 23 August 2019 was jointly organised by IAS, the Graduate Students' Club of EEE and IEEE Young Professionals.
