Overseas Entrepreneurship Programme (OEP)
The Overseas Entrepreneurship Programme (OEP) provides a unique opportunity for NTU undergraduates to gain entrepreneurial experience and innovative mindset and skills outside the classroom. Students selected for the programme are offered internship roles in technology-based start-ups in the world’s leading entrepreneurial hubs.
OEP aims to nurture future start-up founders and corporate innovators by immersing students in a start-up environment, working closely with the start-up founders to make a significant contribution to the business.
NTU is an appointed partner of the Innovators Academy, a key pillar of Singapore Economic Development Board’s Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) initiative. NTU supports the Innovators Academy activities through OEP which is designed to provide an experiential learning experience for NTU students in global innovation hotspots.
Through OEP, students will gain a global perspective of business and markets, build valuable business contacts and develop the skills to build and run a start-up. The OEP experience equips students to be “future-ready” in a fast-changing global business landscape and accelerates their entrepreneurial journey and innovative pursuits.
