On 7 December, 2023 (Thursday), Kunming University of Science and Technology of China visited the Office of Health and Safety (OHS) at Nanyang Technological University to gain insights into excellent laboratory Safety and Health Management practices. During the visit, the Director of the OHS, Mr Saravanan Gunaratnam, provided a comprehensive overview of the Safety and Health Management System employed by the university. Following the presentation, a dynamic Q&A session ensued, focusing specifically on Laboratory Safety and Incident Management. The exchange allowed for a valuable cross-cultural dialogue, fostering a collaborative approach to ensure the highest standards of Safety and Health in academic environments.
