Seminar Abstract
Phase change heat transfer in porous media is widely used in energy, power and environment system. Because of the geometric complexity of porous media and the nonlinear characteristic of phase change heat transfer, a detailed study on heat transfer in the porous media will be presented based on macro and micro scales. A two temperature model is used to study the heat transfer in porous media due to the thermal difference between the porous matrix and fluid. The fractal geometry method is applied to describe pore structure and pore distribution. The lattice Boltzmann method is adopted to solve the multi-scale simulation of phase change heat transfer in porous media.
