Assoc. Prof. Murukeshan has been elected as a Fellow of Optica 2022 (formerly OSA)

Assoc. Prof. Murukeshan Vadakke Matham has been elected as a Fellow of Optica for his "pioneering contributions to optical imaging and instrumentation from micro to nanoscale". "Optica, formerly OSA, the society advancing optics and photonic worldwide, is a leader of excellence, delivering high-quality scientific and technical information that is authoritative, accessible and archived". Optica fellowship is an award and honor for "distinction in the advancement of optics and photonics through distinguished contributions to education, research, engineering, business and society."

Dr. Murukeshan Vadakke Matham is an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. He is the Director of the Centre for Optical and Laser Engineering (COLE) and the Deputy Director of The Photonics Institute (TPI). He leads a research team that focuses on innovative interdisciplinary research and development based on Imaging Optics and Applied Optical Engineering for potential applications in Biomedical Optics, Nanoscale Optics, and Optics for Metrology.

A/P Murukeshan Vadakke Matham is also a Fellow of SPIE, Fellow of IOP, and a Distinguished Fellow of OSI.
