MAE team wins 3rd Prize in the Amateur Rocketry FAR-51025 Contest 2023

Congratulations to team for achieving the third position in the Amateur Rocketry FAR-51025 Contest 2023!

Aiming for the stars, a group of Singaporean university students from the non-profit group Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) took part in an international rocketry competition in June.

The competition team consisted of eight members, including three from NTU - Deng Fei Fan, Hong Jin Hao, and Tyrohnn Hira. Despite facing a setback with delayed parts at the US Customs, the team improvised and used spare parts to assemble a new rocket. They successfully launched "Project Mynah" during the Friends of Amateur Rocketry competition on June 4 in California's Mojave Desert.

The team's efforts paid off as they secured third place, with California State Polytechnic University, Pomona taking first place and the National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan coming second.
