Modular Design Research Association Launched with LG Electronics on 13 May 2023 at Seoul Korea

The Modular Design Research Association (Co-Chairman: NTU Professor, Seung Ki Moon and LG Electronics Senior Researcher, Yong-geun Hwang) launched on 13th May 2023, at the Korea Institute of Industrial Management Systems Spring Conference held at the Hanyang Institute of Technology (HIT) on the Seoul campus of Hanyang University is product planning/development/production/SCM/SVC from the perspective of modular design, as product operation and product structure become more complex in the customized generation. It was formed for the purpose of researching how to respond to the complexity that occurs in the field.

At the inauguration ceremony, Seung Ki Moon, a professor at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, gave a tutorial session on the theme of “How does modular design create new market opportunities and support Industry 4.0?”
