Faculty Affairs
◣ Message from Vice-Dean, Faculty Affairs
LKCMedicine builds on the strong foundation of our exceptional faculty, who possess passion and dedication for conducting high-quality academic and translational research and educating the next generation of doctors to improve future patient care. We take great pride in the continuous academic and professional growth of our faculty.
The Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) plays a crucial role in attracting and recruiting diverse, talented faculty from around the globe, as well as promoting their career development at LKCMedicine. As Vice-Dean for Faculty Affairs, I am supported by a team of highly dedicated professionals who assist our faculty at every step. Our team welcomes new faculty and ensures their smooth transition into the OneLKC community.
In addition, the OFA maintains faculty records, implements faculty-related policies, organises faculty development workshops, and assists with annual review exercises as well as promotion and tenure processes. The growth and development of our faculty are essential to their—and our School’s—success. We are committed to promoting faculty well-being and career development at all levels and developing future leaders for our society.
Our role in the OFA is to support the best interests of our faculty members, who consistently strive to make LKCMedicine an outstanding institution. We are here to support our faculty every step of the way.
