Innovation Clinic

Office of Innovation and Enterprise offers an innovation clinic for Biotech, Medtech and Digital health projects within LKCMedicine, providing tailored mentorship and consultation services for technology development, translation, commercialization, grant applications, and more. Additionally, OIE facilitates connections between faculty, researchers, and relevant external mentors, as well as key ecosystem stakeholders to support project success.

OIE also conducts a Quarterly Consultation Clinic for potential projects seeking to apply for National Healthcare Innovation Centre (NHIC) grant such as the I2D, in collaboration with NHIC. Biotech Clinic

LKCMedicine OIE has onboarded Dr Deborah Chen, the Director of Cairnhill Pharma as one of the external mentors of this biotech clinic. Dr Chen is a Biopharma leader with extensive experience in drug discovery and early phase clinical development. She is an enterprising mindset with excellent problem solving and project management skills. She has over 20 years of industry experience across oncology, neurosciences and rare diseases. She is also proficient in scientific and business planning and execution and has a successful track record in global cross-functional team leadership, line management and developing talent. Her areas of expertise include but not limited to drug discovery, medicinal chemistry, clinical development, business development etc.
